      SCIM Provisioning Using Okta

      Features

      Othership Workplace Scheduler supports the following provisioning features via Okta: 

      • Push New Users: Automatically create new users in Othership Workplace Scheduler when they are added in Okta.

      • Push Groups: Groups created in Okta will be replicated in Othership Workplace Scheduler.

      • Push Profile Updates: Any updates to a user's profile in Okta will be synchronized with Othership Workplace Scheduler.

      • Push User Deactivation: If a user is deactivated or their access is disabled in Okta, they will also be deactivated in Othership Workplace Scheduler.

      • Reactivate Users: Reactivated user accounts in Okta will also be reactivated in Othership Workplace Scheduler.

      Provisioning Limitations

      Please note the following restrictions:

      • Password synchronization is not supported.

      • Importing users from Othership Workplace Scheduler into Okta is not supported.

      • Importing profile updates from Othership Workplace Scheduler into Okta is not supported.

      Configuration Steps

      To configure provisioning, ensure you have administrator permissions in Othership Workplace Scheduler and access to Okta's OIN (Okta Integration Network) Manager.

      Step 1: Generate a SCIM Token in Othership Workplace Scheduler

      1. Log in to your Othership Workplace Scheduler account.

      2. Navigate to Settings > Organization Integrations.

      3. Locate the SCIM Integration page and generate a SCIM token.

      4. Copy the generated SCIM token.

      Step 2: Configure Okta

      1. Open a new browser tab and log in to the Okta Management Portal.

      2. Add the Othership Workplace Scheduler application from the Okta App Catalog.

      3. Navigate to Provisioning tab > Settings > Integration.

      4. Paste the copied SCIM token into the integration settings.

      5. Click Save.

      Step 3: Enable Provisioning Features

      1. Select the provisioning features you want to enable (e.g., Push New Users, Push Groups, etc.).

      2. Click Save to apply the changes.

      3. Assign users and groups to the application as needed.

      Once these steps are completed, Okta will manage user provisioning for Othership Workplace Scheduler based on the enabled features.
